About Keziah Striplin

Keziah Striplin (she/her)

Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA)

I believe people need to be heard and validated before progressing toward optimal health and wellness. And I believe in the power of an individual to control the narrative of their life and empower themselves. People have the ability within themselves to thrive and prosper, and with acceptance, support, validation, and a wide breadth of knowledge and tools, the potential within is unlocked to heal and manage mental health and wellness. I will be in your corner, supporting you.

I’m passionate about helping you recognize your strengths and experience growth. Let’s work together to uncover your strengths and navigate your path to wellness.

My Background

My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own struggles, which led me to the transformative power of mental health support – these experiences inspired my passion for supporting others. Over the past ten years, I have worked as a recovery mentor, supporting people from various backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community. My work has included assisting individuals with mental health issues, such as DID, BPD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression. I bring empathy, real-life experience, and professional skills to my practice.

What To Expect When We’re Working Together

You can expect a collaborative approach tailored to your unique needs when we work together. We will develop a personalized treatment plan based on your goals, and I will share my knowledge and skills to help you achieve them. You are the expert on your life; your input is vital in shaping our therapeutic journey. I am committed to continuously learning and adapting to ensure your best outcomes. My approach is flexible, without a “one size fits all” method, and focuses on your strengths and challenges.

My treatment approach aligns best with clients who seek support for:

I primarily work with adults but also have experience working with children, teenagers, and older adults. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, stages of change, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. This eclectic approach is person-centered, anti-oppressive, and strengths based.

“Not the world, not what's outside of us, but what we hold inside traps us. We may not be responsible for the world that created our minds, but we can take responsibility for the mind with which we create our world.”
